SAVE is an interdisciplinary group composed of engineers, geographers, physical and computer scientists and creative artists.
The SAVE group combines the experience of staff from across the Schools of Contemporary Sciences, the School of Health and Social Sciences and the School of Computing and Engineering.
Particularly drawing on the engineering and sustainability knowledge provided by the UWTC group coupled with the complex systems modelling and visualisation work by the SIMBIOS Centre.
SAVE aims to aid decision making processes by
- Understanding decisions and institutional influences,
- Understanding behaviour change triggers,
- Showing the future possible consequences of current behavious through the use of visualisation and mathematical modeling,
- Using novel software and hardware to enhance and expand stakeholder engagement in real world problems.
