PHPP 3D

BIM Prototype Project

The PHPP 3D BIM Prototype project was another project that was funded by the Scottish Funding Council Innovation Voucher Scheme. It was done in collaboration with local architectural design and consultancy firm called Future Komfort. The software tool that was developed for this project is called PHPP 3D. The tool allows architects and construction engineers to test house and building designs within the scope of the Passivhaus requirements specification. The tool was designed and developed using Building Information Modelling principals.

The findings of this research project were reported in the ARCOM 2014 academic conference proceedings (see publications section).
